But Maher admitted it was not what he would have wanted.
Asked if the kick-off change was annoying for Blues, he replied: “Yes it is but there’s not much you can do is there?
“You can moan about it if you want to but it is what it is.
“We’ll be coming home later and have less recovery time ahead of Tuesday but it’s going to be that way for the rest of the season.
“We’ve got to face it.
“Our whole focus will be on Saturday and after that it goes onto the next one.
“It is what it is and we have to get on with it.”
And Maher is pleased with how preparations have gone for the game.
“ It’s been a normal week in terms of what a Saturday, Tuesday looks like and it’s been good,” said Maher.
“There’s been recovery and that’s important at the minute.
“We’ll be prepared for a game at Carlisle that we’re looking forward to.”
