The Las Vegas Raiders haven’t shown too much interest in bringing back most of their free agent class, but they did make a move before the start of free agency. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the team has tendered exclusive rights free agent Tristin McCollum.

McCollum signed with the Raiders last season after two years with the Philadelphia Eagles. The veteran safety played 16 games for Las Vegas in 2025 and had 14 combined tackles, including two tackles for loss.

McCollum isn’t a big-name player to keep around, but he proved to be a solid veteran. He should help provide some depth to the secondary, while also helping on special teams.

He originally came into the NFL as an undrafted free agent of the Houston Texans in 2022. He never had a chance to play a game for them before moving over ot the Eagles.

In two seasons with the Eagles, he played in 17 games, making two starts. He was also part of the team that won a Super Bowl in 2024. McCollum is only 26, so he fits in with the youth movement the Raiders are currently embracing. With the team going through a rebuild, he’ll have a chance to prove that he deserves a bigger role with the team.

Raiders Have 2 Free Agents in Top 100

Coming off such a bad season, it’s not a surprise that the Raiders don’t have many free agents they’re hoping to bring back. However, there are a couple of good players they could consider.

Matt Bowen of ESPN put together a list of the top 100 free agents in the NFL. He had Raiders cornerback Eric Stokes at No. 71.

“A lack of playmaking numbers (one career interception) moves Stokes down in the rankings, but he has the long speed and downhill quicks to play as a denial defender in coverage,” Bowen wrote. “At 6-foot-1, he has the length to play press-man coverage or stay on top of routes as an outside-third zone defender.”

Stokes wasn’t the only player Bowen listed. He had Raiders offensive guard Dylan Parham ranked at No. 90.

“Parham will need the right scheme (likely a wide zone system) to play his best football, but he has the skills to mirror in pass protection,” Bowen wrote. “In 2025, his 95.2% pass block win rate ranked ninth among 65 qualifying guards.”

Should Raiders Re-Sign Stokes or Parham?

Stokes is a player the Raiders have to be considering bringing back. He was their best cornerback last season. The former first-round pick struggled early in his career due to injuries, but he seemed to put everything together last season.

As Bowen noted, he doesn’t make a lot of big plays, but he also doesn’t give up many. He shouldn’t be too expensive, so there’s a good chance the Raiders bring him back.

On the other hand, Parham might not get seriously considered. The Raiders might have had the worst offensive line in the NFL last season, and Parham started 15 games. He wasn’t the biggest problem on the offensive line, but he also wasn’t an impact player. It might be time for a fresh start.
