Los Angeles Rams: Deliver Huge News for 33-Year-Old

Los Angeles Rams tight end Tyler Higbee has struggled to stay healthy over the past two seasons, missing 21 games in that span. He missed the first 14 games of 2024 recovering from a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus sustained in the Wild Card Round, and seven games in 2025 with an ankle injury. When Higbee has played, he has been a weapon in the running game thanks to his blocking skills, and a solid pass catcher, with 25 receptions for 281 yards and two touchdowns in the regular season, and four receptions for 84 yards in the playoffs.

The 33-year-old was set to hit free agency for the first time in his ten-year career while pondering his NFL future. If Higbee departs, the Rams’ tight end room is in good hands with three capable playmakers who have unique skills: Colby Parkinson, Terrance Ferguson, and Davis Allen.

According to Ian Rapoport, the Rams have re-signed Tyler Higbee to a two-year, $8 million contract after he pondered retirement. As a result, the veteran tight will be under contract for the near future, hoping to stay healthy after battling injuries over the past two seasons. The tight end room should look very similar next season, with Colby Parkinson a potential trade candidate due to his upcoming $9 million cap charge.

Curious to see after this resigning if the Rams will keep all 4 TEs they have on there roster!

Higbee has been injury prone, but he has been a ram for so long would be weird to see him in another jersey!
