The Lakers superstar is now the NBA's all-time holder for career field goals made.
LeBron James has delivered another monumental feat in basketball.
Los Angeles Lakers / Schedule
The Los Angeles Lakers superstar has officially surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for most field goals in NBA history.
Entering Thursday’s clash against the Denver Nuggets, James needed three more field goals to surpass the legendary center's 15,837 record. He tied Abdul-Jabbar after an alley-oop play with Luka Doncic during the 6:36 mark of the first quarter.
LeBron successfully placed his name atop the leaderboard with 11.8 seconds left after a post-up, fadeaway jumper over Zeke Nnaji.
As it is, James previously surpassed Abdul-Jabbar in 2023 to become the NBA’s all-time leading scorer. He is the only player in NBA history to reach 40,000 career points.
Beyond points and field goals, James is also leading the NBA in minutes played, All-Star selections and All-NBA selections in the all-time category. As such, he is on track to surpass Robert Parish’s record (1,611) for most regular-season games played ever.
The 41-year-old is still pushing strong in his 23rd campaign in the NBA, averaging 21.6 points, 7.0 assists and 5.7 rebounds in 43 games
