The future of Hansi Flick at Barcelona is becoming one of the most important topics at the club as the presidential election approaches.

The German coach has made a strong impression since arriving in Catalonia, and there is growing belief that he could stay at the club beyond the early stages of his current project.

According to an update from reliable journalist Florian Plettenberg, the Barcelona manager is very happy with life at the club and is open to continuing his journey at Camp Nou.

Flick reportedly enjoys the environment around the team and feels comfortable working within the structure currently in place.

The report states that Flick is very open to extending his contract with Barcelona. He loves the club, the fans, and the city.

However, the manager ties his future to that of Joan Laporta and wants to shape Barcelona’s future together with him.

The upcoming presidential election scheduled for 15 March could therefore play a decisive role.

If Laporta fails to secure re-election, Flick’s long-term future at the club could suddenly become uncertain.

The journalist suggests that if Laporta is not re-elected, a departure is more than possible either in the summer or after his contract expires in 2027.

It is widely known inside the club that Flick and Laporta share a very strong working relationship.

In fact, it has previously been reported that Flick showed his support for Laporta during the early stages of the election process.

Furthermore, Laporta himself has not hidden his appreciation for the work Flick has done since taking charge. The Barcelona president has spoken publicly about the coach and the direction of the project.

“He has said that what he wants is for us to continue the board that I have had the privilege of chairing,”Laporta has said.

For now, Flick remains under contract with Barcelona until 2027. However, once the electoral process is complete, discussions about a possible contract extension are expected to move forward quickly.
