arsenal fcArsenal are keen on signing Red Star Belgrade attacking midfielder Vasilije Kosto who is touted as being one of the best young players to have come out of Serbia in recent years.
Despite being just 17, Kosto was promoted to the senior Red Star squad last summer, and has quickly established himself, scoring 12 goals and providing si assists in 33 games this season.
And he has also gained international recognition, becoming Serbia’s youngest ever debutant when he was chosen for their World Cup match against Albania last November.
Not surprisingly, he has attracted attention from across Europe, with Inter Milan amongst those tracking his progress.
But Arsenal may be ready to steal a march on them, with suggestions that they have already submitted an offer of opening £17m offer which has been rejected by Red Star who are holding out for more.
The player himself reportedly dreams of a move to the Premier League.
