Liverpool are set to hold talks over the future of Arne Slot in the summer, regardless of how the current campaign ends, according to TEAMtalk.

Defeat to the league's basement club Wolves this week saw fans turn on the Dutchman once again, with a large group of the fan base calling on him to be sacked immediately.
The club's senior officials have always backed Slot publicly, but there is concern behind the scenes about his performance, and FSG are prepared to hold talks once the season comes to an end, with it now widely considered to be unlikely that they end the campaign with any silverware, despite still being in both the Champions League and FA Cup.

Xabi Alonso was strongly linked with a move to Anfield to replace Jurgen Klopp before turning the job down, and Liverpool moved to appoint Slot instead.
