The latest Chelsea injury news and return dates ahead of their FA Cup tie against Wrexham.

Chelsea are in FA Cup action on Saturday against Wrexham. The Blues make the trip to North Wales off the back of their 4-1 win at Aston Villa in the Premier League last time out. Joao Pedro managed to score a hat-trick at Villa Park.

Meanwhile, Cole Palmer also found the net. Liam Rosenior’s side are sat in 5th place in the table after 29 fixtures. Here is a look at their latest injury news and return dates...

When is Estêvão back for Chelsea?

Chelsea remain without winger Estêvão for their tie against Wrexham. The Brazilian has missed their last three league outings since their FA Cup win at Hull City. He is back on the training pitch running now though so his return shouldn’t be too far away.

Estêvão, 18, linked up with his current club on a long-term contract last year from Palmeiras. He has a bright future ahead of him in the game and is being tipped for big things. The teenager has played 32 matches since his transfer to England and he has chipped in with seven goals.

Jamie Gittens also remains on the sidelines for the Blues with a hamstring injury. His exact return date remains to be seen. Speaking last week, Rosenior said: “Jamie is progressing really, really well in terms of his rehab.”

Chelsea signed the 21-year-old from Borussia Dortmund to add more competition and depth to their attacking department. He hasn’t quite managed to reach his potential but still has plenty of time left. The Reading-born man has found the net only once in 27 outings so the best is certainly yet to come from him.

Other Chelsea updates including Dario Essugo latest

Chelsea’s Dario Essugo hasn’t made an appearance yet in this campaign. He had thigh surgery back in September but suffered a fresh setback three months later. In this latest update, he has returned to training and could be back later this month. Rosenior has said: "At the moment, Dario is back on the training pitch which is good.”

The 20-year-old is a bit of an unknown quantity and he will be like a new signing when he finally plays. Prior to his move, he rose up through the academy at Sporting Lisbon and was a regular for them at various different youth levels before breaking into their first-team as a teenager. He was also loaned out by the Portuguese giants to Chaves and Las Palmas to get some experience under his belt and to boost his development.

Levi Colwill has endured a frustrating spell in the treatment room. He ruptured his ACL and hasn’t been seen for a while. It is hoped that he will be back available come the end of this season and if not, for pre-season in the summer. It will be a massive boost when he is fit again but they won’t want to rush him back to avoid making anything worse. Rosenior has said: "Levi is doing really, really well with his long-term rehab.”
