It’s always a great day when we can post the WhoScored team of the Premier League Gameweek and see multiple Blues in there.

Well that’s just what we have today – three Blues in the midweek Gameweek 29 lineup after a brilliant round of games for Liam Rosenior’s team’s Champions League chances.

Joao Pedro was never going to miss out after a hattrick – he has an insane 9.40 score.

Meanwhile the players who were supplying him the ammunition got in too. Cole Palmer bagged the fourth goal for the Blues and looked great in a game where he was given so much space to operate. He’s picked on the right wing with an 8.51.

On the other side, Alejandro Garnacho had a true redemption game after being handed his first league start since January. He was a menace all game down our left, tearing Matty Cash apart, and he ended the game with an assist. He could easily have had a couple more.

This is all very promising for the games ahead – we’ve been lacking in attack in recent weeks, and needed a confidence boost for the likes of Garnacho and Palmer.
