The Milwaukee Bucks did not have a great Wednesday night, as they got taken to the woodshed by the Atlanta Hawks in a 131-113 loss at Fiserv Forum.
It might be a little worse for Thanasis Antetokounmpo, who had an embarrassing ending to his evening.
Sent into the game for some garbage time action, Antetokounmpo called for an isolation play with just under a minute left in the fourth quarter and with the Hawks up by 18 points.
Antetokounmpo seemed confident he could take Hawks big man Christian Koloko one-on-one off the dribble, as he made a series of moves on his way to the rim. However, it did not end the way he planned it, as Koloko absolutely obliterated Antetokounmpo’s lay-up attempt.

Here is how that ill-fated drive by Antetokounmpo went down:
That play prompted fans to further roast Antetokounmpo, who finished the game with zero points and with a steal.
“The longest tenured ‘make-a-wish’ pro player ever! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂,” said one on IG.
Another one said: “somebody called him ‘make a wish player’”
From a commenter: “La fitness iso 😭”
“Them boys on the hawks bench dying laughing is even funnier 😂😂😂😂,” a social media user posted.
Via a different commenter: “No way bro called iso down 20 with 37secs Ona clock 😭😭😭😭💀”
Said another: “All that just to get blocked 😂😂😂😂”
As bad as that play looked for Antetokounmpo, there should more chances for him to see action on the court and redeem himself.
The 33-year-old Antetokounmpo, who is the older brother of Giannis Antetokounmpo, signed a one-year, $2.87 million contract with Milwaukee in August of 2025.
