LeBron James blasted the officials after the Denver Nuggets' loss, saying he is "so f**king tired" of referees dismissing contact as "marginal" following the no-call on a play involving Nikola Jokic.
Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James made history on Thursday, surpassing Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's NBA all-time record for most field goals made.
However, the Lakers fell 120-113 in an important loss, and James also suffered an elbow injury late in the game while driving to the basket against the Denver Nuggets three-time MVP Nikola Jokic.
After converting a layup with 4:06 remaining in the fourth quarter, James stayed down on the floor for several seconds, grimacing in pain and urging referees to call a foul on Jokic.
Instead, the officials did not call even a shooting foul.
Following the game, James openly criticized the referees.
"It's the same s**t. 'Marginal.' It's the same s**t," LeBron told reporters after the game.
"It's, it's, it's … whatever. That's all they keep saying is, 'marginal.' I'm so f**king tired of that word."
The 41-year-old LeBron is currently considered day-to-day with the elbow injury.
Lakers head coach JJ Redick said the team was still evaluating the situation.
"He's got ice on it right now, and it'll get looked at," Redick told reporters.
The Lakers now sit at 37-25 and sixth place in the Western Conference.
