Former New York Knicks star exposes NBA for allegedly rigging games

The NBA is under fire once again after a former New York Knicks star accused the league of some questionable behavior during his career.

Jeremy Lin was one of the most iconic Knicks over recent decades during his “Linsanity” movement. However, the former NBA guard is exposing the league for unsavory decisions allegedly affecting the outcome of games.

During a recent Above The Rim podcast appearance, the former Knicks star went all in on a story that shed negative light on the league. Lin alleges that the NBA rigged a game he was involved in by calling for the star shooter to be benched.

While Lin didn’t specifically mention the team he was played for at the time, the former Harvard standout did reveal that he had scored 20 points through three quarters.

Meanwhile, his assistant coach allegedly told him that he wouldn’t be gong back into the game in the fourth despite the NBA team’s lead shrinking.

“I had 20 and 10 after three quarters,” Lin said on the podcast. “We were up about 15 to 18 [points], and in the fourth quarter and overtime I didn’t play one second … He goes ‘Yeah, we got the call from above and you’re done for tonight.”

However, Lin’s huge accusation of the NBA isn’t the first time that the league has been thrown allegations its way. Former Atlanta Hawks legend Dominique Wilkins made similar accusations years ago during an interview where he gave a similar account to what Lin stated.
