Latest A.J. Brown trade rumors include Patriots, Chargers and Rams

According to a new trade rumor involving Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown, there are at least two teams interested in his services, while another is reportedly pulling out.

The Athletic's Dianna Russini reports that the New England Patriots "have poked around" the idea of a trade for Brown and the Los Angeles Chargers are "keeping tabs" on the situation.

However, Russini adds that the Eagles' high asking price remains the same.

"The Philadelphia Eagles are holding firm on their steep asking price for A.J. Brown. While the New England Patriots have poked around on it, the Los Angeles Chargers are another team keeping tabs on the situation, per sources," she reported.

The Los Angeles Rams were also apparently interested in Brown, but Russini notes that Los Angeles has moved on from the idea of trading for the Pro Bowler.

"The Rams discussed trading for Brown but have moved on," Russini wrote.

The Chargers are a new entrant into the mix, as we haven't seen rumors previously that suggest the team would have interest in the wideout. But their interest in understandable, as Los Angeles lacks a true No. 1 wide receiver.

New England has long been rumored to have interest in Brown, but the Patriots reportedly consider Philly's asking price "unserious."

New England does have a dire need at wide receiver, though, as the team is set to cut Stefon Diggs, which leaves an already lackluster receivers room even more shorthanded.

The Eagles asking price for Brown, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo, is a package similar to what the New York Jets got for Quinnen Williams in the trade with the Dallas Cowboys.

That deal included a first-round pick, a second-round pick and defensive lineman Mazi Smith, who was pretty much just a throw in and not exactly a consequential piece.

As good as Brown is, it's hard to envision any team paying that price, and with the Eagles' seeming reluctance to trade him, said price may not go down.
