NBA star Dillon Brooks arrested in Arizona, mugshot released

NBA star Dillon Brooks was arrested in the early hours of the morning on Friday in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Phoenix Suns guard was arrested for DUI at around 2:00 a.m.

The Suns hosted the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night, falling 105-103, and dropping to 35-27 on the season.

According to TMZ Sports, Brooks was “respectful and cooperative before being released.”

Brooks’ mugshot also dropped shortly after his release from jail.

Brooks has missed the past few weeks as he recovers from a broken hand. He last played against the Orlando Magic on February 21, scoring five points and recording three rebounds in just seven minutes.

This season, Brooks is averaging 20.9 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.8 assists per game.

Before joining the Suns in 2025, Brooks played for the Memphis Grizzlies and Houston Rockets.

The Suns have not publicly commented on Brooks’ arrest at this time.
