The Las Vegas Raiders appear set to move on from star pass rusher Maxx Crosby, and there appears to be a strong possibility he could be coming to the AFC North.
According to The Athletic’s Dianna Russini, the Baltimore Ravens are a “team to watch” in the Crosby trade sweepstakes, along with the Dallas Cowboys.

According to Russini, the Cowboys are the front runner and remain “very interested” in the star pass rusher. But Baltimore under new head coach Jesse Minter is a team to keep an eye on.
The Ravens have a significant need at the EDGE position. Baltimore traded away Odafe Oweh last season to the Los Angeles Chargers, and 35-year-old Kyle Van Noy is a pending free agent. Though the Ravens have invested in the position in recent years with the selections of Tavius Robinson and Mike Green, neither moves the needle all that much.
Landing Crosby would be a significant splash for a team eyeing a Super Bowl in the Lamar Jackson era.
Crosby hasn’t publicly requested a trade, but there has been a falling out with the Raiders in recent months after GM John Spytek shut down the star pass rusher late in the 2025 season due to injury.
Now, with another new head coach for Crosby to work under in Klint Kubiak, the Raiders now appear open to moving the star pass rusher and the face of the franchise. A trade with the Ravens would shift the balance a bit in the AFC North.
Though Minter is a new head coach, he built a tremendous coaching staff, particularly landing Anthony Weaver as defensive coordinator. Pairing Weaver with Crosby could do wonders for Baltimore’s issues generating pressure on the quarterback.
The move to Baltimore would also see Crosby battle against T.J. Watt — a player he has a great relationship with — twice a year. Crosby might also be able to get a crack at Steelers quarterback Will Howard, a player he recently raved about.
Then, there’s the connection with new Steelers defensive coordinator Patrick Graham, who was Crosby’s defensive coordinator for multiple seasons in Las Vegas.
We’ll see what transpires with the Crosby market. But all signs indicate he’s on the move. Hopefully it’s not into the AFC North.
