According to SNY’s Connor Hughes, the Jets have shown interest in three quarterbacks: Las Vegas Raiders QB Geno Smith, pending free agent Carson Wentz from the Minnesota Vikings, and Arizona Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett. Among the trio, new offensive coordinator Frank Reich reportedly prefers Carson Wentz due to their prior successful connection in Philadelphia.

During Reich’s time as offensive coordinator with the Eagles, Carson Wentz enjoyed his most productive NFL season in 2017, leading Philadelphia to an 11-2 record before suffering a season-ending ACL tear.
