Wrexham Predicted Lineup & Team News vs Chelsea in FA Cup Clash
Arthur Okonkwo has been the first-choice goalkeeper for the majority of the season, starting whenever healthy. Max Cleworth, Dominic Hyam, and Callum Doyle make up the first-choice back three. The changes to the back line come at wing back where Issa Kabore, Ryan Longman, Liberato Cacace, and George Thomason share the duties as the wide defenders, depending on match fitness and injuries.

The midfield is made up of Lewis O’Brien, now injured Ben Sheaf, George Dobson, and Ollie Rathbone with Josh Windass, Sam Smith, Nathan Broadhead, and Kieffer Moore lining up ahead of them any form of an attacking trio/duo.
Wrexham Recent Form & Tactics
Parkinson sets his team up in a 3-5-2/3-4-2-1 setup that allows them to defend with a back five and launch counters, they are equally happy playing without the ball but can keep the possession and use that to create chances. Their attackers are all physically capable and can hold up attacks or win aerial duels if needed, meaning there’s almost always a way for the Dragons to get a chance away while the back three makes it harder to get at their goal. They reduced Charlton at the weekend to just a single attempt on target as an example.

The team have been hard to beat all season long but their recent run has seen them surge up the Championship table, they have lost just once in their last nine matches, winning four of their last five. Goalscoring comes fairly easy but their back line is either feast or famine, usually keeping a clean sheet or letting in multiple strikes. They’ve already been the upsetter in the FA Cup, knocking out Nottingham Forest in the third round and could easily pull off the shock result this time around too.
Wrexham Team News
There are a few issues for the manager to contend with, his midfield has already been a problem spot with Sheaf going down injured to join Matty James, Aaron James, Lewis Brunt, and Liberato Cacace on the sidelines. Broadhead and Dobson are newer issues following their last league tie while Kabore has some tightness, but the coach didn’t indicate the wing-back would be unavailable.
