Dallas Mavericks Announce Cooper Flagg Update Before Celtics Game

On Friday evening, the Dallas Mavericks will be in Boston to play the Celtics.

The Mavs are coming off a 115-114 loss to the Orlando Magic (in Florida).

Cooper Flagg made his return to action, finishing with 18 points, five rebounds, six assists, one steal and four blocks while shooting 7/22 from the field and 1/4 from three-point range in 26 minutes of playing time.

Before Friday’s game against the Celtics, the Mavs have announced their injury report.

Flagg will be available on the second night of a back-to-back.

Mike Curtis of The Dallas Morning News wrote: “Daniel Gafford (right ankle injury management) is listed as doubtful for tonight’s game against the #Celtics.

Marvin Bagley III (neck sprain) has been upgraded to doubtful.

Klay Thompson (right adductor contusion) is listed as probable, while Brandon Williams (left quad contusion) has been upgraded to probable.

Two-ways Moussa Cisse, John Poulakidas & Tyler Smith are questionable.”

The rookie sensation is averaging 20.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 1.2 steals per contest while shooting 47.8% from the field and 30.1% from three-point range in 50 games.
