Ibrahima Konate’s Liverpool contract is set to expire on June 30, 2026, but there is a growing feeling he will pen fresh terms.
Konate has been in talks over a new deal for some time now, but a new contract is yet to be announced.
This week has seen Real Madrid’s interest in the Liverpool centre-back emerge once again, but the Reds have new confidence he will remain at Anfield beyond the expiry of his current contract.

Liverpool have new confidence Ibrahima Konate will sign contract
Graeme Bailey, writing for TeamTalk, has now shared this week that Liverpool believe they have now offered Konate the most lucrative contract offer when it comes to basic salary.
Furthermore, ‘there is a new confidence from within the club that Konate will sign up’.
But while those in a position of power on Merseyside seem sure the stopper will stay beyond 2025/26, there is plenty of interest in his services from foreign sides, who are already about to agree a pre-contract with the player.
Serie A outfit Inter Milan were linked with Konate last week, while Bailey also mentions that Spanish giants Real Madrid and FC Barcelona are looking at the player.
