Browns predicted to sign Packers free agent OT to $80 million contract

The Cleveland Browns have a lot of work to do on the offensive side of the ball. While wide receiver is a big need, the biggest issue is the offensive line.

Tytus Howard was acquired from the Houston Texans for a fifth-round pick, and the Browns gave him a $63 million extension. But, there are still major needs for the Browns along the OL, especially at left tackle.

That's why ESPN's Dan Graziano is predicting that the Browns are the landing spot for Green Bay Packers free agent offensive tackle Rasheed Walker this offseason on a massive $80 million contract.

Browns predicted to sign Rasheed Walker to $80M deal

"Rasheed Walker, OT. Contract projection: Four years, $80 million with $50 million guaranteed," Graziano writes. "Predicted landing spot: Cleveland Browns."

This offseason, the Browns need to add multiple starters along the offensive line. Walker, who could slide into the left tackle spot, would be a top option for Cleveland this spring.

Walker, as Graziano notes, had a "93.8% pass block win rate" last year for the Packers. He's a quality starting lineman in the NFL.

And with so many teams needing offensive line help, the Browns will need to pay up to land him. $80 million over four years, with $50 million guaranteed, is a lot of money, but the Browns need him.

They cannot go into 2026 with a weak offensive line, as they won't be able to get a proper evaluation of Shedeur Sanders with poor play from the offensive line.

The 26-year-old left tackle has started 48 games over the last three seasons and should land a massive contract this offseason.

Graziano is predicting that a big deal will come from the Browns. With their big need at left tackle, that wouldn't be too surprising.
