PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Phoenix Suns and Mercury did Something Good last week for a Valley nonprofit that supports adults and children with developmental disabilities.
Their joint charitable organization, the Phoenix Suns/Phoenix Mercury Foundation, awarded a $20,000 grant to ACCEL, which helps people with special needs and developmental disabilities learn, work and live independently.
Suns forward Royce O’Neale delivered the check to ACCEL on behalf of the foundation and Bell Bank.
He spent time meeting with students and staff at the organization, and also surprised them with free tickets to a future Suns game.
