LeBron James, along with Deandre Ayton and Maxi Kleber, will miss the Lakers' game against the Indiana Pacers on Friday night due to injuries.
The Los Angeles Lakers have ruled LeBron James out against the Indiana Pacers on Friday night due to a left elbow contusion and foot soreness.
This will mark the first time since the All-Star Break that the Luka Doncic–LeBron James–Austin Reaves three-man lineup won't be on the floor together.
James injured his left elbow on Thursday after scoring a layup with 4:05 remaining against the Denver Nuggets, absorbing contact from Nikola Jokic. No foul was called.
"It's pretty sore right now," James said after the game. "It felt like one of those funny bone situations, but like, super more intense."
LeBron, 41, briefly tried to return after a timeout but ultimately sat out the final 22.3 seconds and iced the elbow afterward.
Deandre Ayton (left knee soreness) and Maxi Kleber (lumbar strain) are also out for the game against the Pacers.
