The Chicago Bears made headlines on Thursday morning when the franchise decided to ship star wide receiver DJ Moore and a 2026 fifth-round selection to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for the 60th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.

A deal meant to benefit both teams, the Bears gained an extra second-round selection and cleared a plethora of cap space while the Bills get a new WR1 for quarterback Josh Allen.

For this episode of The Halas Beat, hosts Usayd Koshul and and Steve Letizia discuss what trading Moore away means for the Bears and how an extra second-round pick can alter what the franchise decides to do in April's draft, especially with four draft picks inside the top-100 for the second straight year.
