CHICAGO, Ill., — The Chicago Bears had a new unexpected need on the offensive line when center Drew Dalman informed the team he was retiring. He spent just one season in Chicago after being a big free-agent signing for the team last offseason.
With the departure of Dalman, Ryan Poles and his staff worked hard early to find a center. Now, on Friday they have one for at least a depth purpose. Per Adam Schefter, the Bears are acquiring center Garrett Bradbury from the New England Patriots in exchange for a 2027 fifth-round pick.
