ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that the Baltimore Ravens are trading their 2026 and 2027 first-round picks to the Las Vegas Raiders in exchange for defensive end Maxx Crosby. Crosby was rumored to be dealt at some point this offseason, but now has officially found a home. For the Raiders, they now acquire the 14th pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, as well as getting a second pick in next year’s first round to completely hit the reset button.

For the Ravens, they now acquire one of the best edge rushers in the game. In a division that is primarily focused on the defensive side of the football, they are going to be even better. Crosby is signed through the 2029 season, so there is a chance the next four years will have Crosby with the Ravens. He is coming off knee surgery at the end of the season, so it will be intriguing to see how he bounces back next season.

The Ravens are now in a unique position as this is the first time in its 31-year history that they traded a first-round pick in exchange for a player. With new coach Jesse Minter being a defensive-minded coach, he gets one of the top players on that side of the football to go after the quarterback.
