Rio Ngumoha impressed for Liverpool in the 3-1 win at Wolves, but goalscorer and creator Andy Robertson was the star man!
The Reds are into the FA Cup quarter-finals, with goals from Robertson, Mohamed Salah and Curtis Jones avenging Tuesday’s defeat at Molineux.
Here we compare our player ratings with those of the Liverpool Echo, GOAL and the TIA readers.
Robertson (8.1) looked like the peak version of himself against Wolves, opening the scoring with a superb finish and then assisting Salah.
The Scot was hailed as Liverpool’s “game-breaker” by Ian Doyle of the Echo, while GOAL’s Mark Doyle said there is “life in the old dog yet!”
Ngumoha (8.08) was just behind in second place, following a sparkling performance on the left wing.

Writing for This Is Anfield, David Lynch felt the teenager was the “undoubted star of the show,” adding that he gave Liverpool “something they have sorely lacked of late.”
Jones (7.53) also enjoyed a good night in the Reds’ midfield, with Ian Doyle saying he “improved” in the second half and bagged a “well-taken” goal.
But it was another quiet evening for Cody Gakpo (5.43), who got the lowest rating and couldn’t get going.
What the stats say: Robertson gets an 8.9!
According to FotMob, Robertson was Liverpool’s best player statistically, aided by his goal and assist.
The 31-year-old played 20 passes into the final third, too, highlighting his influence in the final third, with Dominik Szoboszlai (17) the only player close to his tally.
Robertson also completed 92 percent of his passes (95/103), with Szoboszlai leading the way (93%), and created the joint-most chances alongside the Hungarian (4).
Virgil van Dijk produced a strong performance at the heart of Liverpool’s defence, winning three out of four aerial duels, which was unrivalled in either team.
