Chelsea have identified Bayern Munich midfielder Aleksandar Pavlovi ć as a possible summer target and are set to open discussions about his potential availability in the coming weeks.
Born in Munich, Pavlović is a product of the Bayern academy, and the 21 year old has made 20 appearances in the Bundesliga for Vincent Kompany’s side this season.
Manchester City are also reported to interested in the player who is valued at £60 million, although Pavlović focus is on remaining with Bayern, so any Chelsea bid would need to be sufficiently tempting to persuade him his future lies outside Germany.
Meanwhile, Nicolas Jackson has not given up hopes that his move to Bayern can be made permanent, with Kompany having assured him that he remains a vital member of the Bundesliga champions-elect squad until the end of the season.
