Report: Former Everton boss one of the 'hottest names' as Tottenham consider managerial switch

Former Everton boss Sean Dyche is being lined up as a potential replacement for Tottenham Hotspur interim manager Igor Tudor.

For years it has been Everton who have faced nervy relegation battles at this stage of the Premier League season.

However, the Lilywhites now find themselves in that position, with David Moyes bringing stability back to Merseyside.

Sean Dyche eyed by Tottenham as last-ditch managerial change

West Brom have shown an interest in Dyche, but it seems he could well be on the shortlist as Spurs consider another managerial switch.

According to Tuttosport, Dyche’s name has cropped up in the list of possible suitors to replace Tudor, who was only appointed himself three weeks ago.

The shortlist reportedly consists of:

Sean Dyche

Ryan Mason

Robbie Keane

Roberto De Zerbi

Thiago Motta

Dyche hailed Everton’s supporters back in 2023 for the support they showed during their relegation scrap at Goodison Park.

That is something he would be unlikely to get in north London, with images on Thursday showing Spurs fans leaving the stadium at half time during their loss to Crystal Palace.

Tottenham remain without a Premier League win in 2026 and sit just one point above the drop zone.

With nine games remaining, the Lilywhites are looking at Dyche as someone who has experience of saving sides from relegation.
