Arsenal have been rocked by two big injury blows against Mansfield in a FA Cup tie that did not go according to plan. Despite the Gunners leading 2-1, they would have hoped to coast into the quarter-finals by giving their fringe players a run-out and coming through the match without any injuries.
But Mansfield gave the Premier League leaders an almighty fright, going toe-to-toe with Arsenal and equalising in the second half. Eberechi Eze did restore the Gunners' advantage, after Leandro Trossard went down unchallenged in the 37th minute and had to be replaced.
He came off for Piero Hincapie, while another left-back later joined Arsenal's injury list. Riccardo Calafiori went down in the 76th minute and walked off, assisted by the physio, having received treatment on his leg.
