“Still Killing It!”: Patrick Mahomes’ Wife Gushes Over Daughter Sterling’s Self-Styled Look

Since tearing his ACL and LCL in December’s loss to the Los Angeles Chargers, Patrick Mahomes, 30, has been grinding through rehab after undergoing surgery within 24 hours after the injury. However, the three-time Super Bowl MVP’s life at home hasn’t slowed down.

It’s usually Brittany Mahomes commanding attention with her looks and adorable family activities, but this time, a different Mahomes stole the spotlight. Sterling Skye, the couple’s eldest daughter, born in Feb. 2021, put together her own outfit and earned every bit of the praise that followed.

Brittany posted a photo of Sterling to her Instagram Story showing the 5-year-old standing on the staircase in a sleeveless floral sundress, pink tights, red fluffy slippers, and a matching oversized pink bow.

In a recent IG story, Brittany claimed Sterling assembled entirely on her own, penningon “still loves dressing herself and still killing it.”

Last time, Sterling was seen on the sidelines carrying a yellow-and-black Fendi Baguette bag belonging to her mother. Brittany later shared the photo on her Instagram Storieswith the caption, “Not her stealing my purse… 🤣”

To complete her “sideline style” against the Philadelphia Eagles, Sterling wore a denim skirt, a yellow sequined bomber jacket with football patches, and yellow protective headphones.

New details drop about Patrick Mahomes’ comeback timeline

NFL Network’s Jay Glazer offered an unexpected update on Mahomes’ recovery, noting his accelerated pace out of the gate. “Patrick’s different,” Glazer said.

His statementadded, “He got the surgery the next day… I believe it was either Thursday or Friday of that week, he was already in the Chiefs’ training room doing rehab. He already had gotten his knee bending 90 degrees at that point.” Glazer added he’d hedge on Mahomes returning “sooner than” the start of the season, “by far.”

Chiefs VP of sports medicine Rick shared similar optimism. He pointed to Patrick Mahomes’ habit of arriving at the facility at 6 a.m. and staying late as part of the work that helps speed up his return, even though healing still follows its own timeline.

The typical recovery from a combined ACL and LCL repair is about nine months, which lines up closely with the National Football League season opener expected around Sep. 10.

For now, Mahomes is focused on rehab — and, it seems, raising a future fashion editor at home.
