Ryan Gravenberch signs new Liverpool FC contract at the AXA Training Centre on March 07, 2026

Ryan Gravenberch has signed a new Liverpool contract, keeping him at until the summer of 2032.

feel Gravenberch has developed into one of the outstanding midfielders on the continent during his near three years at Anfield and have rewarded the Netherlands international with fresh terms that reflect his growing importance to the club.

At 23, Anfield chiefs believe the former Bayern Munich man's best years are to come and the club confirmed the agreement on Saturday afternoon after talks with Gravenberch's Team Raiola agency progressing smoothly.

Gravenberch was understood to have been eager to thrash out the terms of a new deal with the club he joined in August 2023, believing the best years of his career lie ahead on Merseyside, where he won the Premier League's young player of the year en route to winning the title last term.

The agreement is further evidence of Liverpool's desire to tie down the key operators within their playing squad as talks remain ongoing with Ibrahima Konate, who is into the final months of his deal at the age of 26, and Dominik Szoboszlai.

Former Ajax youngster Gravenberch has become a mainstay of the team under Arne Slot. In Jurgen Klopp's final season in charge, the midfielder made just 12 starts before a switch to a No.6 role in the engine room under Slot saw him flourish last season as he featured in 37 of the Reds' 38 games. This term he has played 27 of 29 games, missing the opening game of the season against Bournemouth through suspension.

Gravenberch joined the club in August 2023 for around £40m and was part of a midfield rebuild that also saw Alexis Mac Allister, Szoboszlai and Wataru Endo signed. The Reds remain in talks with Szoboszlai's representatives over a new deal.
