Justin Herbert, 27, put together a solid 2025-26 campaign for the Los Angeles Chargers — 3,727 passing yards and 26 touchdowns — but the postseason door closed when the Patriots knocked Los Angeles out in the Wild Card round.
With the offseason underway and no more film to grind, Herbert has been spending his downtime and celebrating something very special.
Justin Herbert wishes Madison Beer a happy birthday
Herbert’s girlfriend, pop star Madison Beer, turned 27 on Thursday, and Herbert made sure to show out for the occasion. He is known as a typically introverted QB, but posting a heartfelt tribute to Beer really gave fans a glimpse of what it looks like when the signal-caller steps out of his comfort zone.
Herbert posted two photos on his Instagram Story about their adorable moment on the SoFi Stadium sideline. In that story, he wrote, “Happy birthday to my favorite person of all time. I love you so much. You’ve changed my life forever.”

The pair has been dating for roughly six months, gradually making their relationship more public through high-profile appearances and social media. It started in August 2025, when Herbert was spotted on the set of one of Beer’s music videos in Los Angeles.
Romance rumors hardened into fact when camerascaught them kissing on the SoFi sideline before a Chargers-Commanders game in October, and they later went courtside at a Lakers game and attended Game 3 of the World Series together.
According to Herbert, the two first connected through mutual friends — starting with coffee and chess before anything more developed. They attended the Pre-Grammy Party together in Jan. 2026, signaling the relationship had moved well past the situationship stage.
Beer, a Grammy-nominated singer known for tracks like “Make You Mine” and “Good in Goodbye,” has been equally low-key about the pairing publicly because of her past trauma.
Her first public relationship with Vine star Jack Gilinsky (2015–2017) ended after a leaked audio recording surfaced of him being verbally abusive toward her. Beer later admitted she stayed in the relationship for a long time in a misguided attempt to “fix him”.
Her relationship with DJ Zack Bia (2018–2019) was described as “tumultuous” and “on-again, off-again”. After their split, she posted on social media that she owed herself an apology for “putting up with s— I never deserved”. Her hit song “Selfish” is widely believed to be about him.
But her relationship with Herbert, to be frank, looked quite solid and healthy from the start. The best part? Beer needed help getting past that trauma, but Harbart says Beer changed his life.
