“Shut Up Old Fart”: NFL Fans Clap Back at Jake Paul’s Hypocrisy in NFL Boxing Debate

Logan Paul sparked a massive row during Wednesday’s episode of his Impaulsive podcast by claiming no NFL player could take him in a boxing match, and his brother Jake Paul just added fuel to the fire.

Logan first put $1 million on the line and specifically named Myles Garrett, Puka Nacua, Tom Brady, and Sam Darnold as potential opponents. Afterwards, Dallas Cowboys center Brock Hoffman immediately called it easy money and told Paul to get the contract ready.

Buffalo Bills lineman Dion Dawkins agreed, and former star Le’Veon Bell was even more blunt, promising to beat the hell out of Paul if they stepped into a ring. With the discourse already running hot, Jake stepped in to throw gas on it.

Jake jumped in to support Logan, reminding everyone how he knocked out Nate Robinson in 2020 to prove that being a pro athlete doesn’t mean you can fight.

He also dug up a 2023 video of UFC’s Sean Strickland easily handling Maxx Crosby in a sparring session. Even though Crosby is a 265-pound All-Pro defensive end, he ended up tapping out multiple times.

Hewrote, “There’s no difference to what Logan would do to the NFL players and to what I did to Nate Robinson. Why are we still talking about this. Sean Strickland worked Maxx Crosby barely trying and Maxx is one of the strongest, biggest, and most athletic in the NFL and SEAN ISNT A BOXER!”

It’s insane how people haven’t learned that NBA, NFL, and other professional athletes aren’t fighters

Jake actually argued that people still don’t realize NFL and NBA players aren’t fighters. He claimed Logan would do the same thing to them that he did to Robinson, noting that if an MMA fighter like Strickland could dominate Crosby without even trying, a boxer would have an even easier time. It was a solid point on paper, but critics were quick to point out the holes in Jake’s own boxing record.
