The Celtics say he'll be re-evaluated in three to four weeks (in early April) after surgery on Saturday morning to stabilize a fracture in his right ring finger.
He suffered the injury during Friday night's game against the Dallas Mavericks. Vucevic left the game in the first half and headed to the locker room after hurting his hand.
The Celtics later confirmed that the big man fractured his ring finger, ruling him out for the rest of the contest.
The Celtics are now 42-21 on the season, holding second place in the Eastern Conference standings.
