Anthony Edwards agrees with Curry on two players who could break his 3-point records

Anthony Edwards agrees with Stephen Curry that he and rookie Kon Knueppel are the two players most likely to challenge and potentially break Steph's NBA all-time 3-point records.

Golden State Warriors future Hall of Famer Stephen Curry is the NBA's all-time leader in three-pointers, with 4,233 and counting.

Recently, Curry named two players he believes could eventually challenge his records: Anthony Edwards and Kon Knueppel.

Edwards, the Minnesota Timberwolves superstar, became the first player in NBA history to reach 1,200 three-pointers before turning 25. He is currently shooting a career-best 40.6 percent from beyond the arc this season.

"I think I'm going to catch him [Steph]," Edwards told Danny Emerman of The San Francisco Standard.

Knueppel, the 20-year-old rookie with the Charlotte Hornets, was also mentioned.

"He might catch him," Edwards, 24, said. "The white boy from Charlotte, right? He's good. Either me or Kon Knueppel. I'm a big fan of Kon Knueppel. He can really shoot the ball."

Knueppel recently broke Keegan Murray's record for most threes made by a rookie in a single season and became the fastest player to reach 200 career triples.

"I think the 400 3s in a season... I view that as pretty close to unbreakable," Knueppel told The Standard. "It's up there in NBA history.

"I don't know if the total is as unbreakable, just because early in his career, he missed some games, missed some times with the ankles, but also just wasn't shooting as many as maybe players are shooting them today."
