The [Buffalo Bills](https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/buffalo-bills) are reportedly close to re-signing one of their key offensive linemen.
According to [ESPN's Adam Schefter](https://x.com/AdamSchefter/status/2030354789276569865), the Bills and center Connor McGovern have agreed to a four-year, $52 million contract that includes $32 million guaranteed.
"Source: Bills and C Connor McGovern reached agreement on a four-year, $52 million deal that includes $32 million guaranteed," Schefter reported.
This is massive news for the Bills, who might have had a tough time re-signing McGovern if he hit free agency thanks to the robust market he was likely to see.
McGovern is one of two key pending free agents the Bills have along the offensive line, with the other being guard David Edwards, who is expected to have a robust market in free agency.
The belief has been that because the Bills don't have a ton of cap space that they won't be able to re-sign both McGovern and Edwards.
We will find out if that is the case in the coming days, with free agency set to unofficially begin on Monday with the legal tampering period.
