Real Madrid’s home game against Manchester City in the first leg of the Champions League’s Round of 16 will not be an easy one. Kylian Mbappé is all but ruled out and will try his best to be ready for the return leg. The French star is still feeling some pain on his knee and it looks like he won’t be able to to play on Wednesday despite his best efforts to be available. Jude Bellingham and David Alaba will also miss the game with injuries, just like Rodrygo Goes and Eder Militao.
On the other hand, Álvaro Carreras seems to be trending in the right direction with his calf injury. The Spanish defender is not quite there but there’s optimism inside the club about his ability to play on Wednesday. The same can be said about Eduardo Camavinga, who missed the team’s match in Vigo against Celta but will be ready to face City.
