Newcastle United v Manchester City team news: Eddie Howe has made four changes for Saturday’s FA Cup fifth round clash at St James’ Park.
Newcastle United have rewarded William Osula’s match-winning cameo against Manchester United with a start against Manchester City.
Osula is one of four changes made by Eddie Howe for Saturday’s FA Cup fifth round tie at St James’ Park.
Osula comes in for Anthony Gordon, who drops to the bench. Nick Woltemade also returns straight to the starting line-up after missing the Man United match due to illness.
The German comes into the side in place of the suspended Jacob Ramsey while Joe Willock and Sven Botman also come into the side in place of Joelinton and Dan Burn.
The Magpies will be looking to progress to the quarter-finals of the FA Cup against one of the favourites to win the competition.
It’s the fifth time Eddie Howe’s side have come up against Pep Guardiola’s this season. Having won the first meeting between the sides 2-1 back in November, Newcastle have lost the last three.

Tino Livramento injury boost
In addition to Woltemade returning, Newcastle have also been boosted by the return of Tino Livramento after two months out with a hamstring injury.
The right-back returns on the bench and will be an option for Howe, who confirmed Livramento’s fitness levels ahead of the match.
“He’s done a lot of work so there’s no question about his cardiovascular fitness,” Howe told The Gazette. “He’s been running for a long time so he’s got a lot of work behind him. It’s just that training time and involvement with us.
“But he’s been with all our coaches and done enough and he’s looked really good, so I think he’s there or thereabouts.”
Key players miss out for NUFC
Newcastle are without Jacob Ramsey due to suspension while Bruno Guimaraes, Lewis Miley, Fabian Schar and Emil Krafth miss out due to injury.
It is hoped Miley will be back later this month while Guimaraes and Schar are set to be sidelined until April and Krafth is likely out for the rest of the season.
