David Moyes insists that despite how good Jordan Pickford has been, he does sometimes need a reminder to remain calm.
Everton are one of the very few Premier League sides who can have total confidence in their goalkeeper
Over recent weeks, Pickford has demonstrated just how good he really is with some stunning saves against Newcastle United and Burnley.
Jarrad Branthwaite was stunned by Pickford’s save against Newcastle to deny Sandro Tonali’s thumping volley.

David Moyes has to remind Jordan Pickford to remain calm at Everton
Joe Cole thinks Jordan Pickford could break James Milner’s record of the most Premier League appearances.
The former Sunderland goalkeeper has a reputation for being slightly wild, which Moyes feels he has to keep under control at times.

“He’s a really, really good goalkeeper. He’s very good because he’s got good distribution as well, and his agility, as you can see, is excellent,” Moyes told TalkSPORT.
“But no, he’s got his moments. I have to tell him now and again, you know, I think he’s better when he keeps himself steady and doesn’t get caught up in all the things he does.
“And look, he’s an experienced player now. He’s played the games. I don’t know, he must be close to 100 caps. I think he’s closer to that for England anyway, that’s for sure.”
Former Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar does not rate Pickford as world-class despite some of his recent saves.
The 32-year-old only trails the goalkeepers of the top two sides in the Premier League when it comes to clean sheets this season.
With 81 caps for England and 349 appearances for Everton, Pickford is one of the leaders behind the scenes.
Keeping his head on the pitch will be extremely important as the Blues look to end their drought without European football qualification.
