Black grabbed at his left hip/ribcage area and asked to come out of the game.

He then went straight to the locker room with a member of Orlando's training staff during a timeout.

The injury occurred in the first quarter when Black appeared to tweak his back while attempting to go for a steal. He was replaced by Tristan da Silva at the 9:59 mark, with the Magic leading 4-2 at the time.

Black has also been dealing with a recent quad issue, though it's not yet clear whether this incident is related or a new injury.

While Black is being evaluated by the team's medical staff, Tristan da Silva, Jett Howard, and Jevon Carter could see increased minutes off the bench.

This season, Black is averaging 15.5 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 3.9 assists.
