Knaak played the full 90 minutes in Germany’s World Cup qualification clash as they cruised past Norway at the Lyse Arena.
Miedema played 92 minutes for the Netherlands in their 2-1 victory over Ireland, while Kerstin Casparij was an unused substitute.
Lineth Beerensteyn scored both of the Dutch’s goals, while Katie McCabe scored a penalty for the Irish.

Elsewhere, Eartha Cumings was named on the bench in Scotland’s World Cup qualification game against Luxembourg.
After a hat-trick of goals on Tuesday for former City midfielder Caroline Weir, she recorded an incredible four assists as Scotland netted seven at Barclays Hampden.
Scotland lead the way at the top of the table on goal difference after Kathleen McGovern got them off to the ideal start at Hampden Park, slotting home from eight yards after only 36 seconds.
