Upon their 104-97 loss against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday, Steve Kerr addressed the media and revealed that Porzingis will not play on Monday against the Utah Jazz.
As such, the plan is to reactivate the Latvian star on Tuesday at home against the Chicago Bulls.
After missing the last six games due to illness, Porzingis became available for the Warriors this weekend against the Thunder. In 23 minutes of play, he finished with nine points in 3-of-10 shooting with four rebounds, five assists and five blocks.
As Porzingis isn't fully healthy yet from his disease, Kerr and the Warriors will continue to maintain a cautious approach in handling his availability.
With Porzingis unavailable against Utah, Al Horford and Draymond Green are poised to anchor the Warriors' frontcourt.
