Giannis Antetokounmpo delivers efficient near triple-double in Bucks win

Giannis Antetokounmpo nearly posted a triple double on Saturday, ending the Milwaukee Bucks’ four game losing streak with a crucial 113 – 99 victory over the Utah Jazz at Fiserv Forum.

Despite playing only 27 minutes, the Greek Freak made the most of his time on the floor as the Milwaukee Bucks continue to monitor his workload following a recent injury. Giannis Antetokounmpo poured in 27 points while shooting 9 of 14 from the field and 9 of 15 from the free throw line. He also added nine rebounds, eight assists, and four steals, nearly recording a triple double while making his presence felt on both ends of the court.

“Some days it’s gonna be ugly wins, like tonight, but it doesn’t matter, it’s a win. I go home, enjoy my kids, tomorrow we have another one,” the Bucks superstar commented during his postgame interview while turning his attention to Sunday’s home matchup against the Orlando Magic.

“I’m happy. But, we gotta keep on trying to do the right thing. And the more you try to do the right thing, the basketball gods try to reward you. And that’s what I’ve done my whole career.”
