The former Liverpool striker watched on as Dagenham and Redbridge won on Saturday afternoon.
Earlier this week, hugely popular Youtube star KSI, who also is a multiple business owner and a current judge on Britain’s Got Talent, announced that he had bought a stake in Dagenham and Redbridge.
The National League South club’s fans welcomed KSI with a rapturous reception as he arrived ahead of kick-off.
When the game kicked off, he was sat next to former England and Liverpool striker Andy Carroll.
That is significant because the former Red also holds a minority stake in the club.
KSI live streamed the game, with a camera documenting his movements alongside Andy Carroll.
That livestream currently has 324,000 views, demonstrating the publicity and attention that someone as big as KSI on the internet can bring to a club.
In the game, Aramide Oteh scored the decisive goal in the second half as Dagenham and Redbridge came away from the game with a 1-0 win.
Alongside the thousands of views that the stream accumulated, the attendance at the game was also far greater than that of last week.
The attendance for the match was 2,281, an increase of over 1,000 that watched on as the club suffered defeat to AFC Totton last Saturday.
The win lifted Dagenham and Redbridge up to 12th in the National League South which is the sixth tier of English football.
They still have a long way to go to align with KSI’s ambitions of taking the club into the Premier League.
