Barcelona’s technical secretariat is already hard at work identifying reinforcements to bolster the squad’s quality ahead of the summer transfer window.
One of the club’s priorities is to bring in a new central defender, with Alessandro Bastoni emerging as a top target.
However, the club are also monitoring a few other options, including Luka Vuskovic, the Tottenham defender currently on loan at Hamburger SV.
Interestingly, Vuskovic is represented by Pini Zahavi, who also manages Robert Lewandowski, Hansi Flick and Wojciech Szczesny. But when asked about the recent Vuskovic rumours, he has kept things quiet.
“I cannot comment at this time, as the player still has a contract with Hamburg and his concentration is there,” Zahavi told 365Scores (h/t Diario SPORT).
While the agent refused to confirm or deny the alleged interest from Catalonia, his coy stance has only added fuel to the fire regarding the 19-year-old Croatian’s future.

Securing Vuskovic would be a complex and costly operation for the Blaugrana. Tottenham, having paid €11 million to Hajduk Split for the teenager’s signature, is reportedly unwilling to accept any sum lower than €59 million.
This valuation mirrors the costs of more established targets like Micky van de Ven or Bastoni, though Barça is also considering more affordable alternatives like Manchester City’s Nathan Ake.
The club view Vuskovic as a player with the physical profile and potential suited for Hansi Flick’s system.
While Pau Cubarsi and Eric Garcia are considered untouchable pillars of the defence, the club is keeping its options open depending on the long-term situation of Ronald Araujo.
For now, the presence of Zahavi as a common link between the player and the club’s hierarchy keeps the door firmly ajar for a potential summer move.
