The Seattle Seahawks are Super Bowl 60 champions. It was a fantastic season, and the Seahawks are now flying into the offseason with a ton of momentum.
But, they're set to lose a lot of players in the open market. Riq Woolen, Josh Jobe, Kenneth Walker III, Boye Mafe, Rashid Shaheed, and Coby Bryant are all free agents.
As Brady Henderson of ESPN notes, the Seahawks' biggest need, despite not having a glaring weakness, is two positions: running back and cornerback. Thanks to Walker and Woolen, those are the two biggest needs for Seattle thisoffseason.
Seahawks' biggest needs are RB and CB amid free agents
"Biggest need: The Seahawks don't have any glaring needs yet, so their goal will be to keep as many of their free agents as possible," Henderson writes. "The Seahawks will need to add a running back if they can't re-sign Kenneth Walker III, and they might need help at cornerback as well."
Of their outgoing free agents, Woolen is the most likely one to find a new team this offseason. While he's not actually been signed or even been rumored to be signing with a team, if there was one free agent on his way out, it would be Woolen.
Jobe is an interesting cornerback for the Seahawks, as he likely won't cost a lot, and even if he re-signs, the Seahawks will probably need to consider a cornerback addition in the draft.

Walker, on the other hand, is a big issue for Seattle. The Super Bowl MVP is slated to receive plenty of big offers, and the Seahawks, with massive deals coming up for Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Devon Witherspoon, might not spend a lot on a running back.
With Walker and Woolen both likely to leave in free agency, the Seahawks will need to add some help at the running back and cornerback positions this offseason.
But, even though those are needs for the Seahawks, they aren't such glaring holes on the roster that the Seahawks need to overspend to fill those holes.
Their roster is very well constructed, and in a good spot for John Schneider to be patient at both positions in free agency and the NFL Draft.
