The Giants could be set to lose wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson to the Titans in free agency

The New York Giants have been busy to start the offseason. After landing John Harbaugh as their new head coach, the front office must work on shoring up the roster so that when Harbaugh gets to work with this team, he has a real shot at helping them emerge as a dark-horse playoff contender in 2026.

As a result, the Giants are expected to be busy in free agency, but one of the biggest questions this offseason revolves around wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson, who is set to hit the open market. While New York would like to keep him in town, it sounds like a surprise candidate has emerged as the frontrunner to sign him once free agency opens.

Titans Emerge as Threat to Steal Wan’Dale Robinson from the Giants

With Malik Nabers missing most of the 2025 campaign due to a torn ACL, Robinson was forced to step up and be the Giants’ No. 1 receiver. He ended up turning in a career year, as he racked up 92 receptions for 1,014 yards and four touchdowns. With free agency looming, Robinson now seems set to get paid this offseason.

Despite being undersized at 5’8, Robinson has proven himself capable of making plays at all three levels of the field. Once Nabers gets himself healthy, he can Robinson could prove to be a star wide receiver duo for quarterback Jaxson Dart. However, it’s no sure thing that Robinson will re-sign with New York.

To this point, the Giants have been unable to find common ground on a new deal with Robinson, and if he hits the open market, he could very well sign a big-money deal with a new team. That team, however, could be the Tennessee Titans, who hired Robinson’s former head coach, Brian Daboll, to be their new offensive coordinator earlier this offseason.

“Tennessee has been linked to Giants’ free-agent WR Wan’Dale Robinson,” Adam Schefter of ESPN reported in a post on X. “There is mutual interest, but Robinson will have other suitors.”

It’s never a good sign when a player you are trying to keep in town ends up hitting the open market, and while anything can happen in the NFL, it looks like Robinson could be on the move. The Titans would be a unique fit for him, as he would be tasked with helping Daboll get 2025 No. 1 overall pick Cam Ward on track after he endured a rocky rookie season.

New York is expected to make a push to keep Robinson in town, but the two sides simply may not be on the same page as free agency draws near. If that ends up being the case, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him land with the Titans, although there surely will be several other teams prepared to offer him a big contract once free agency opens later this week.
