One of the main suspects in the case, Boakai Eugene Hilton, faces multiple charges including kidnapping and armed robbery. Investigators say Hilton organized the plan through text messages and communication with others involved in the attack. Hilton has pleaded not guilty to the charges, and the case remains ongoing in Florida.
