Speaking on The Emily Austin Show, Porter Jr. shared his bold opinion on the NBA GOAT debate.
"People will say Michael Jordan just to agree, but they haven't watched the film," Porter Jr. said. "They'll just say it to agree with everyone else. For me, with my two eyes from what I've seen, I'm going to say Nikola Jokic is the best player I've ever seen... From what I've seen day to day, I haven't seen anybody as dominant as Nikola."
Porter Jr.'s statement comes as Jokic continues his stellar run in the NBA. The Nuggets star has built a resume that rivals some of the all-time greats.
Last season, he became only the third player in history to average a triple-double over an entire season, joining Oscar Robertson and Russell Westbrook.
Despite this, Michael Jordan's legacy remains the benchmark for many fans. Jordan won 6 NBA Finals titles, earned 6 Finals MVPs, claimed 10 scoring titles, and even secured a Defensive Player of the Year award.
