Logan Paul will not be boxing any NFL players, per a direct order from WWE management. This decision comes as the company seeks to protect its star athlete from injury during his full-time wrestling schedule.
The conflict began when the WWE star issued an open challenge to any active or retired football player who believed they could beat him in a boxing match.

The challenge gained significant attention after NFL legend Tom Brady questioned whether the YouTuber could handle the physical demands of football.
He responded by claiming he would easily defeat any NFL athlete in the ring. Several players like Dion Dawkins and Le’Veon Bell expressed interest in the fight before WWE intervened.
During a recent recording of his Impaulsive podcast, Paul received a phone call from a WWE executive named Chris. The official told him that he is not allowed to box while under his current contract.
Paul disagreed with the decision during the call and claimed that the risk of injury was low. He stated, “I’m not gonna get injured. These guys can’t box, they’re football players. There’s no risk.”

He even attempted to negotiate by offering the company a portion of his earnings. He told the representative, “I will literally give the company half of my $2 million purse if you let me do this.”
The WWE official rejected the offer, explaining that the company did not need the money and preferred to keep Paul healthy for his upcoming wrestling matches.
This restriction is a result of the new full-time contract Paul signed in January 2026. This agreement gives WWE the power to stop him from participating in outside combat sports that could result in physical harm.
Although he believes his boxing skills are superior to football players, WWE is not willing to take the chance. For now, the $1 million challenge is officially canceled.
Still, the drama has already achieved something important: it captured the attention of both NFL and WWE fans, proving once again how powerful crossover sports entertainment can be.
NFL fans bashed Logan Paul for the alleged ‘fake call’
Social media erupted with skepticism following Logan Paul’s recent claims, with many fans questioning the authenticity of his video.
One fan expressed immediate doubt about the situation’s legitimacy, stating, “Fake call, this is his parachute to get out of a beating.”
A second fan mocked the public nature of the incident and criticized Paul’s behavior, saying, “call me while live so everybody notices“ clown detected and marked.”
A third fan was much more blunt in their assessment of his character, remarking, “Fake as hell what a pathological liar.”
A fourth fan highlighted what they perceived as a calculated move to avoid a confrontation, noting, “Guy set up a fake phone call to avoid filling his own call out , this guy is a god tier scammer it’s actually impressive.”
A fifth fan suggested the entire segment was merely a choreographed promotion, arguing, “This is scripted drama to hype a future match. If WWE cared about injuries, they’d stop him from jumping off ladders every month.”
Many fans feel that Paul is not being honest. They believe the event is staged to grab attention rather than being a real event.
